TERMS AND CONDITIONS

Reality Bites Catering takes pride in providing professional, quality functions to suit your needs and help ensure you have a successful event. We have some terms and conditions in place to ensure the smooth preparation and running of your event.
Booking Deposit

A $1100 deposit (inc GST) is required to hold the date of your function. The booking will not be confirmed until the deposit is received by Reality Bites Catering. This deposit is non-refundable.

 
Menu Selection and Dietary Requirements

Menu selections and a list of dietary requirements are required 14 days prior to the event. Reality Bites Catering reserves the right to change or withdraw items from the menu and replace with a suitable alternative. Reality Bites Catering make our best efforts to cater for dietary requirements and food allergies.

 

Confirmation of Numbers

Final numbers need to be confirmed 7 days prior to the event date. This will be the confirmed minimum number charged.


Payment

Full payment (less deposit) is required 3 days prior to the event unless otherwise organised in writing with Reality Bites Catering; this will represent the minimum cost for the event. Additional charges incurred during the event must be paid in full at the conclusion of the event or 7 days after an invoice is issued. All credit card payments are subject to surcharges of 3% for Amex and 1% for all other Credit Cards.


Cancellations

Cancellations require 4 weeks’ notice in writing to cancel the event. The booking deposit of $1100 is non-refundable.


Covid 19

If you need to cancel your event due to Covid 19, Less than 48 hours prior to your event, 40% of the final invoice will be charged. If you decide to postpone your event, we can transfer your booking deposit to the new date. This will depend on availability and may need to be re-quoted.

Prices

Prices listed are correct upon publication, however they are subject to change without notice to cover unforeseen variations in cost and supply. Prices quoted include GST. All events require a minimum spend on food and drinks, which will be indicated within your quote and upon booking.


Public Holidays

Reality Bites Catering charge a surcharge for events held on a public holiday, so please request a quotation for your event. A minimum spend will apply for public holidays. Surcharge is raised based on final numbers provided before the event. The surcharge is in addition to all other charges.


Responsible Service of Alcohol

Under the liquor licensing laws, our staff is under an obligation to ensure your guests do not become intoxicated. Reality Bites Catering reserves the right to refuse service of alcohol to intoxicated persons or disorderly patrons. These patrons may be asked to leave the premises. Reality Bites Catering is not permitted to serve alcohol to minors and therefore can request suitable identification where necessary. Reality Bites Catering have a duty of care to staff and patrons and will act accordingly. BYO alcohol is not permitted.


Cleaning

General cleaning is included in the cost of the event. Additional charges will occur if excess cleaning is considered necessary.


Acceptance of Terms and Conditions

Confirmation of your booking and payment of the deposit will be an acceptance by you of the above terms and conditions.
